Scheller Continues to Advocate and Support Legislation for Critical Hospice Rights in 2025
Suzanne Scheller, founder of Scheller Legal Solutions continues to advocate and support change for the elderly and process of long-term care rights at the Minnesota Capitol.
During the 2025 legislative Season, Suzanne has proposed to strengthen the Hospice Bill of Rights, prohibit mandatory arbitration clauses in admissions agreement, strengthen retaliation provisions, address restrictions on visitation by a guardian or health care agent, and ensure broader stakeholder input on Waiver Reimagine.
She has testified before Legislative Committees numerous times already this year and will continue to seek real changes at the top level. With years of experience as an attorney in the long-term care arena, her expertise and understanding of the medical, legal, and regulatory aspects of long-term care she is not only qualified to assist in the recommendation, but experienced to understand the positive effects for her clients and the greater landscape of the elderly community.
